Dr Faye Barampouti MD, FRCOphth is a Consultant Ophthalmic Surgeon specialising in Cataract surgery (Phacoemulsification) for adults and children, Paediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus (Squint) for adults and children

She has been trained in the most prestigious Ophthalmology departments in the United Kingdom (King’s College Hospital, St Thomas’ Hospital and Great Ormond street Hospital for children). She has also acquired vast clinical and surgical experience during her carrier as a Consultant Ophthalmic Surgeon and Paediatric Ophthalmologist in well known, specialised Hospitals in the United Kingdom.

Her subspecialities include cataract surgery (she has performed more than 15000 operations) as well as clinical and surgical management of all paediatric ophthalmology pathology. In addition she treats with interest all aspects of Ophthalmology as well as emergency cases and trauma.

Dr Faye Barampouti is working as a Consultant Ophthalmic Surgeon at West Hertfordshire NHS Trust in north London but has also decided to offer her clinical and surgical expertise in Athens at the specialised Vlemma eye institute. She envisages that she will offer to her patients in Greece services comparable to those offered in the biggest Eye clinics in Europe.
